My name is Melissa McGlinchey, RN. I have a bachelor's degree in nursing from Boston College and am currently working on my doctorate at Samuel Merritt University. I live in beautiful El Dorado Hills and love this community. Being an aesthetic nurse has allowed me to combine my passion for connecting with people with my love for creative expression and the science of medicine. I particularly love helping people feel valued, confident, worthy, and beautiful. My 17 years of experience as a nurse and four years of experience as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector have given me a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Some things I love about my job are the relationships I have built with my amazing patients—so many of them have become friends! And coming to work knowing that I can make a difference in somebody’s day, whether that is through treatment or conversation.

I love the EDH Esthectics Center! Dr. Rice is a highly skilled surgeon that strives for perfection! He and his team make you feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Daniel at the reception desk always greets me with a friendly “hello” and goes out of his way to accommodate my busy work schedule with multiple appointment options. Dr. Rice’s surgical assistant Tammy is very knowledgeable, warm and helpful. She provides clear instructions before and after surgical procedures and always calls you the night prior to surgery to check in and reassure any concerns. Dr. Rice was amazing. He took excellent care of me. Took his time with me explaining everything he would be doing before hand. Dr Rice is an amazing surgeon! I had a blepharoplasty done by him a year ago and am so pleased with the results. If you're looking for someone that is meticulous in his work, go to Dr Rice. You will not be disappointed.

Just had an amazing experience getting Botox by Melissa. She made me feel so comfortable and was very accommodating. Experience was great. All the employees that I spoke with were beyond nice and helpful. Before my procedure the Dr. explained exactly what he would be doing and asked if I had any questions or concerns. The procedure was so fast and pain free I actually thought he was joking when he said, “thank you, you’re all done”. Definitely recommend.

Every person in this office is genuinely nice and ready to take care of anything you may need. They are personable, easy to talk too and make you feel really welcome even if you call or show up for questions. They don't push any products on you, they listen attentively and are ready to help! I would recommend The Esthetics Center to everyone! I got Juvéderm Ultra Plus done by Melissa and I am coming back for Voluma under eye treatment soon!

REGINALD RICE, MD, FACS
Dr. Rice received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California, where he also completed an internship in general surgery and specialty surgical training in Otolaryngology—head and neck surgery. Dr. Rice went on to complete advanced training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Institute of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
